Borosilicated glass
Borosilicated glass is a low expansion coefficiency, characterized by an eccelent thermal and chemicalresistance; it can be used with temperatures up to 480 °C and it can be subjected to great variations in temperatures without any problems.
Due to these properties, borosilcated glass, can be widely used in the varios sectors of industry.
In lighting: as protection for halogen lamps.
In mechanical industry: as control signals for furnace and burners, levels and sight passages.
In electrical appliances: as fire-doors for kitchen ovens and protectors for stoves and fireplaces.
Ceramic glass
Due to its very low expansion coefficiency, ceramic glass can be used without any problems with temperatures up to 750 °C.
It is particular outstanding for its resistance to great variations in temperature.
It is an eccellent filter for ultraviolet rays(UV) and is therefore ideal for metallic iodide lamp and in every other instance where high temperature resistant glass is needed.
It is available in thicknesses of 3 and 4 mm.
Tempered glass
Tempered glass is calcium-sodium of high mechanical quality.
